“SYMPOSION”

In July 2024, we will welcome up-and-coming artist Rom Hashimoto to perform ``SYMPOSION''. Hashimoto has been familiar with the stage since childhood, and after studying contemporary art, majored in physical expression arts at university, and began their career as a performer, director, and choreographer. Their works born from their keen sensibility have been highly praised, and they has won the SICF7 PLAY Grand Prix (20), Yokohama Dance Collection 19 Grand Prize New Choreographer Award (2020), and the 20th Japan Dance Forum Award (16). Awarded. They was also selected as Asahi Shimbun's Best Dance Work of the Year (21) and Monthly Dance Magazine's ``Most Impressive Choreographer'' (21).

Innovations include ``Devil Dance'' (21), which illuminates the images of ``Faust'' and ``Dance of Death'' in a society affected by the coronavirus, and ``Pan'' (21, 23), which reflects the frustration of young people living in Tokyo. They energetically presents works that capture modern society from a cultural perspective.
